Lead Occupational Therapist
Kaitlyn received her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of North Georgia and her Master in Occupational Therapy degree from Georgia State University. She is certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Kaitlyn has previously worked as a pediatric behavioral aide and also currently volunteers in her church’s ministry for children with special needs. Kaitlyn is trained in the Transdisciplinary Effective Assessment and Treatment (TR-eat®) model integrating oral motor/sensory therapy techniques along with medical and behavioral management for the treatment of complex feeding problems. Kaitlyn is trained in Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training® for exceptional children.
Kaitlyn uses BRMT to improve motor, emotional, and cognitive functions in children, especially those with special needs. These skills are valuable for treating Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD/ADHD, stress and anxiety, motor deficiencies, cognitive delay and reading challenges. Throughout her experiences, Kaitlyn fell in love with the pediatric population and is passionate about assisting, motivating, and advocating for children to become the best versions of themselves and live life to the fullest every day.
In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, reading, spending time outdoors, and traveling the globe with her husband.
